Stars of Tomorrow is committed to engaging with local community partners in supporting our students, parents and staff. We value the relationships that we continue to build and its our goal to meet the needs of and support our families, students and staff by providing opportunities, information and services to benefit them and connect them to the community. Referral resources are available for children with special health care needs, disabilities, behavioral and early intervention. We encourage families to share concerns, needs and resources they found helpful. There are a wide variety of resources and referrals that are shared. Some examples of community resources/referrals shared are, Early Intervention, Enoch Pratt Library Parenting Groups, Jobs Listings, Job Training, Mental Health Social Services, WIC, Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, Child Advocacy, Family Events, GED Classes, Community College, Family Support Organization, Local Family Events.

DAILY ACTIVITY REPORTS
Stars of Tomorrow Childcare Center Inc. is committed to an open, daily communication to inform parents about their children’s care and accomplishments through daily activity reports. With ongoing communication, parents and teachers can help each child become fully prepared and excited for kindergarten and beyond.

FAMILY INVOLVEMENT
Parent involvement is a critical element of high-quality early care and education. At Stars of Tomorrow we have and open-door policy and welcome our families to be involved, as they feel comfortable. Meaningful family engagement supports school readiness and later academic success.

FAMILY-TEACHER CONFERENCES
We offer regularly scheduled conferences throughout the year to discuss children’s progress and behaviors with their parents. Stars of Tomorrow Childcare Center Inc. educators provide tips and insights to guide parents through learning and developmental milestones.

FOOD & NUTRITION
Stars of Tomorrow provides nutritious balanced meals and snacks, which includes whole grains, fresh fruits, and vegetables daily. Our meals limit fat, sugar, and salt. All meals brought from home by parents are monitored and supplemented when needed to ensure they meet the quality of our food program and ensure our students are receiving nutritious, balanced meals and snacks.
